Personal Project - to repurpose a Nintendo Controller backpack

A very basic repurposing of a Nintendo Controller backpack I was given as a gift, was unlikely to use, but still wanted to keep, so I came up with a way to repurpose it as a footstool.
The backpack straps were removed. A plank of wood was cut to size and inserted into the backpack with an old pillow to pad it out.
Wooden banister spindles were bought, cut to size to make the legs and painted black to match the backpack.
The legs were screwed into the plank of wood within the backpack to complete the stool.
